Description
The Cucumber Magnolia 'Blue Opal' (Magnolia acuminata) is an upright small tree that produces blue flowers with a light fragrance. They appear from June to July. The Cucumber Magnolia 'Blue Opal' also has lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, lime-free, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres.
