Description
The Magnolia 'Yellow Bird' (Magnolia x brooklynensis) is an upright, broad, slender large shrub that produces yellow, cup-shaped flowers. They appear in May. The Magnolia 'Yellow Bird' also has egg-shaped, blue-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, lime-free, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to a width of around 4 metres.
