Description
The Kobus magnolia (Magnolia kobus) is a conical small tree with decorative, red fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces white, ray-shaped flowers in April. The Kobus magnolia also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with humusy, loose, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres.
