Description
The Kobus magnolia 'Isis' (Magnolia kobus) is a columnar, slender small tree with decorative, red fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces white, ray-shaped flowers in April. The Kobus magnolia 'Isis' also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with humusy, loose, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 7 metres and grows to a width of approx. 2 metres.
