Description
The Magnolia 'Maxine Merrill' (Magnolia) is a large, upright shrub that produces light yellow, cupped flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. The Magnolia 'Maxine Merrill' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. The bronze-coloured shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free, sandy, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to around 3 metres wide.
