Description
The Saucer magnolia 'Shirazz' (Magnolia x soulangiana) is an upright, pyramidal large shrub with decorative fruits. It produces dark red, funnel-shaped flowers in April. The Saucer magnolia 'Shirazz' also has egg-shaped, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-free, lime-free, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 8 metres and grows to around 6 metres wide.
