Description
The Saucer magnolia 'Starburst' (Magnolia x soulangiana) is a loose, branched large shrub with decorative, red fruits. These exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces pink-white, funnel-shaped flowers from April to June. The Saucer magnolia 'Starburst' also has egg-shaped, light green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, lime-free, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to around 5 metres wide.
