Description
The Oregon grape 'Smaragd' (Mahonia aquifolium) is a compact small shrub with decorative fruits. These exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces golden yellow flowers from April to May. The Oregon grape 'Smaragd' also has dark green, glossy leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide.
