Description
The Oregon grape 'Charity' (Mahonia media) is an upright shrub with decorative fruits. These exude a strong fragrance. It produces yellow flowers arranged in clusters from January to April. The Oregon grape 'Charity' also has lanceolate, pinnate, glossy, medium green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
