Description
The Apfel 'Crimson Gravenstein' (Malus domestica) produces green-red fruits. They have a sweet and sour flavour. Well-drained, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from September. Its light pink flowers are a beautiful sight. The Apfel 'Crimson Gravenstein' grows upright and broad.

Care
- Cut and saw wounds as well as broken branches should be treated with a wound sealant as soon as possible to prevent pathogens from entering the plant. - Fruit trees planted in spring must be watered generously throughout the summer. Well-rooted plants only require additional water in extremely dry conditions. - A slow-release fertiliser can be used in spring. This releases the nutrients slowly and continuously so that the plant is evenly supplied over a longer period of time.
