Description
The Apple 'John Downie' (Malus) is a large, upright shrub with decorative, orange-red, oval fruits. These are small. It produces white, cup-shaped flowers from May to June. The Apple 'John Downie' also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and is around 4 metres wide.
