Description
The Common mallow (Malva sylvestris) is an upright perennial that produces purple-coloured flowers from May to September. Its kidney-shaped, toothed leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm. The Common mallow is well tolerant of frost.
