Description
The Bead Tree (Melia azedarach) is a roundish, picturesque tree that produces light purple flowers arranged in panicles. They appear in May. These produce light yellow fruits. The Bead Tree also has pinnate, dark green leaves. Its bark is dark reddish-brown and furrowed. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres.
