Description
With its grey-green leaf colouring, the Silky-spike melic (Melica ciliata) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its clump-forming growth. The creamy white flower panicles adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.
