Description
With its medium green leaf colouring, the Mountain melic (Melica nutans) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its clump-forming growth. The red-brown flower spikes adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with well-drained, calcareous soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and grows up to 40 cm wide.
