Description
With its medium green leaf colouring, the Wood melic (Melica uniflora) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its loose, clump-forming growth. The brown flower fronds adorn this grass from spring onwards. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and grows up to 30 cm wide.

The wintergreen leaves of the Wood melics are medium green, linear.
