Description
With its green leaves, Hart's pennyroyal (Mentha cervina) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in containers, as a bee pasture, pond edge, stream, tea and medicinal plant. Purple, pleasantly scented flowers appear from July to September. It prefers well-drained, lime-free soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Hart's pennyroyal is well tolerant of frost. The runner-forming, creeping plant usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm.
