Description
With its medium green leaves, the Bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ponds and bee pasture. White flowers appear from May to June. It prefers humusy, lime-free, loamy, moist to wet soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Bogbean is well tolerant of frost. The bushy, broad plant usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm.
