Description
The Oysterplant (Mertensia maritima) is a rosette-like, overhanging perennial that forms blue, bell-shaped flowers from May to July. Its roundish leaves are yellow-green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Oysterplant is well tolerant of frost.
