Description
The Dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a large tree that grows in a conical shape and usually reaches a height of around 40 metres and a width of around 10 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves have a medium green colour. They turn a beautiful copper-brown or yellow-red in autumn. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
