Description
The Dawn redwood 'Chubby'(s) (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a large tree that grows in a conical, pyramidal shape and usually reaches a height of around 3.5 metres and a width of around 2.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves have a medium green colour. They turn a beautiful copper-brown or yellow-red in autumn. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
