Description
The Dawn redwood 'Gold Rush' (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a large tree that grows in a cone shape and usually reaches a height of around 40 metres and a width of around 10 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves are golden yellow in colour. They turn a beautiful yellow in autumn. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
