Description
The Dawn redwood 'Schirrmann´s Nordlicht' (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a shrub that grows densely and usually reaches a height of around 1.8 metres and a width of around 1.5 metres. Its needle-shaped leaves have a medium green colour. They turn a beautiful copper-brown in autumn. This shrub is well tolerant of frost and prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position.
