Description
The Common pohutakawa (Metrosideros excelsa) is a very popular container plant. Its decorative flowers appear from June to August. The location should be as sunny as possible. A well-drained and humus-rich soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Common pohutakawa reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows up to 1.5 m wide.
