Description
With its green and white leaf colouring, Garten-Chinaschilf 'Silver Cloud' (Miscanthus sinensis) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and compact growth. The wine-red panicles of flowers adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with a well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and grows up to 50 cm wide.
