Description
The Black mulberry (Morus nigra) produces black-red fruits. They are berry-like and have an aromatic flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, sandy, acidic soil and a sunny location create ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from August. Its inconspicuous flowers are a beautiful sight. The Black mulberry grows to around 15 metres high and 15 metres wide with its rounded habit.
