Description
The Black mulberry 'Wellington' (Morus nigra) produces black-red fruits. They are berry-like and have an aromatic, sweet, spicy flavour. Well-drained, calcareous, sandy, acidic soil and a sunny location create ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from August. Its inconspicuous flowers are a beautiful sight. The Black mulberry 'Wellington' grows to around 6 metres high and 5 metres wide with its rounded habit.
