Description
The Muehlenbeckia (Muehlenbeckia axillaris) is a flat, creeping, carpet-like, winter-green perennial that forms yellow-green, star-shaped flowers from June to July. Its roundish, whole-margined leaves are multicoloured. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres. The Muehlenbeckia is well tolerant of frost.
