Care
- Regular watering in summer is particularly important. Morning or evening is the best time for this. Watering should also be done slowly and, if possible, not over flowers and leaves.
- Excess water must be able to drain away easily and waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
- Withered and yellow leaves must be plucked out regularly and old branches cut out. This encourages the growth of new flowers.
- Many bedding and balcony plants have a high to very high nutrient requirement. For this reason, slow-release fertiliser should be mixed into the potting soil when planting. After 4-6 weeks, top up with liquid fertiliser regularly.
Flower
Suitable for consumption. The yellow, orange, red, cupped flowers appear from July to October.
