Description
With its dark green leaves, Sacred lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for use in containers, pond edges and ponds. Pink-cream-white flowers appear from July to September. It prefers well-drained soil in a sunny position. The plant usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres.
