Description
With its dark green leaves, the Yellow pond lily (Nuphar lutea) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as ponds. Yellow flowers appear from June to August. It prefers lime-free soil in a sunny to shady position. The Yellow pond lily is well tolerant of frost. The broad, rhizome-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm.
