Description
With its green-red leaves, Pygmy waterlily 'Pygmaea Rubra' (Nymphaea tetragona) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly well suited to areas such as ponds. Crimson red flowers appear from June to September. It prefers humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny position. The Pygmy waterlily 'Pygmaea Rubra' is well tolerant of frost. The flat plant usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm.
