Description
The Sweet basil 'Genoveser' (Ocimum basilicum) is a herb plant with a spicy flavour. Its dark green, glossy leaves are egg-shaped and wavy. A sunny location and well-drained, nutrient-rich soil are required for optimum growth of Sweet basil 'Genoveser'.

Care
Too much fertiliser harms the aroma of herbs! Herbs are well cared for in planters if they are given herb fertiliser once in spring. When planted out in the garden, a dose of compost at the start of the season is sufficient.
