Description
The Oso berry (Oemleria cerasiformis) is a runner-forming, shrub-like large shrub with decorative, dark blue fruits. These exude a light fragrance. It produces white, bell-shaped flowers in April. The Oso berry also has broad, lanceolate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
