Description
The Black mondo 'Niger' (Ophiopogon planiscapus) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial that produces pink-coloured flowers arranged in clusters from July to August. Its linear leaves are black. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The Black mondo 'Niger' is well tolerant of frost.
