Description
The Oregano 'Hot & Spicy' (Origanum vulgare) is a bushy, dense perennial that produces lilac-coloured, bell-shaped flowers arranged in panicles with a pleasant fragrance from July to September. Its egg-shaped, lanceolate, wavy, ciliated to serrated leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 30 cm and grows to around 40 cm wide. The Oregano 'Hot & Spicy' is well tolerant of frost.
