Description
The Holly olive 'Goshiki' (Osmanthus heterophyllus) is an upright, roundish, compact small shrub that produces white flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from August to October. These produce black, oval fruits. They exude a pleasant fragrance. The Holly olive 'Goshiki' also has shiny, egg-shaped, dark green, variegated leaves. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 m and grows to around 1.5 m wide.
