Care
- Excess water must be able to drain away easily and waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
- Spray regularly with soft, lime-free or low-lime water. The use of clean, possibly filtered rainwater is ideal.
- Dry overwintering of the plant in a sheltered room. Fertilising is not necessary. In spring, lay out the tubers fresh or plant them out in the bed. As a houseplant in a bright, not too warm place on the windowsill. Fertilise lightly.
- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- In harsh locations, sun protection is only recommended in the event of frost.
