Description
The Peony (Paeonia lactiflora) is an upright, spreading perennial that produces pink, red or white, cupped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to June. Its fingered leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and is approx. 1 m wide. The Peony is well tolerant of frost.
