Description
The Moutan Peony 'Kinkoo' (Paeonia x suffruticosa) is an upright, loose small shrub that produces lemon-yellow flowers with a light fragrance. They appear in May. The Moutan Peony 'Kinkoo' also has pinnate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres.

This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.

Flower
The lemon-yellow flowers are double and appear in May. They grow to about 20 - 30 cm and are slightly fragrant.
