Description
The Tree Peony (Paeonia lutea) is a shrub-like garden plant that produces golden yellow, cup-shaped flowers. They appear in June. The Tree Peony also has trifoliate, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to approx. 1 m wide.
