Description
With its green-red leaf colouring, Switch grass 'Cardinal' (Panicum virgatum) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns pots on balconies or terraces thanks to its funnel-shaped, clump-forming growth. It feels most at home in a sunny spot with a well-drained, humus-rich, loose soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows up to 1 m wide.
