Description
With its medium green leaf colouring, Switch grass 'Purple Breeze' (Panicum virgatum) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns pots on balconies or terraces thanks to its funnel-shaped, clump-forming growth. The green-brown flower panicles adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 75 cm and grows up to 50 cm wide.
