Description
The Boston ivy 'Green Spring' (Parthenocissus tricuspidata) is a climbing, deciduous plant with decorative, shiny, heart-shaped, light green leaves. Its green-red shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears yellow-green flowers arranged in umbels from June to July. These produce black-blue, round fruits. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 5 metres.
