Description
The Blue passion flower (Passiflora caerulea) is a climbing evergreen plant that produces blue-white, wheel-shaped flowers with a light fragrance. They appear from June to October. The Blue passion flower also has lanceolate, fingered, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to around 1 metre wide.

Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care

The plants should therefore be transplanted into a larger pot with fresh container plant soil every two years in spring.
