Description
The Foothill penstemon 'Blue Spring' (Penstemon heterophyllus) is a bushy, upright perennial that produces blue flowers from July to September. Its leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Foothill penstemon 'Blue Spring' is well tolerant of frost.
