Description
With its dark green leaves, the Amphibious bistort (Persicaria amphibia) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges and streams. Pink-coloured flowers appear from July to September. It prefers well-drained, lime-free soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Amphibious bistort is well tolerant of frost. The runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 1 metre.
