Description
The Reed canary grass 'Picta' (Phalaris arundinacea) with its dark green, whole-edged leaves with a white border is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as parks, pond edges and streams. Yellow-green flowers appear in June. It prefers humus-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Reed canary grass 'Picta' is well tolerant of frost. The upright, rhizome-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm.
