Description
The Mock orange 'Aureus' (Philadelphus coronarius) is an upright, compact, deciduous shrub with decorative, matt, lanceolate, greenish-yellow leaves with dark green markings. The light yellow shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears white, cupped flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually grows to a height of around 2.5 metres and is around 2.5 metres wide.
