Description
The Phlox 'Red Admiral' (Phlox douglasii) is a broad, creeping perennial that forms carmine-red, wheel-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from May to June. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 30 cm. The Phlox 'Red Admiral' is well tolerant of frost.
